Set up over Bluetooth (nothing to install)

  1. In ThumbGlide, tap Nothing to install: use Bluetooth and allow Bluetooth.
  2. Tap Make phone visible.
  3. On the computer, open Bluetooth settings and add a Bluetooth device. On Windows: Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth.
  4. Pick your phone and accept the code on both screens.
  5. Under Computer keyboard, choose the keyboard language your computer uses.

Set up over Wi-Fi

  1. Install the ThumbGlide program on your Windows computer and open it. Its icon appears next to the clock.
  2. Keep the phone and the computer on the same Wi-Fi.
  3. In the app, tap Scan the code on your computer and point the camera at the code in the ThumbGlide window. Or pick the computer from the list and type the PIN it shows.

When something doesn't work

My computer doesn't show up in the Wi-Fi list

Guest networks and some routers keep devices from seeing each other, and so can a VPN on either device. The first time, Windows may ask whether to let ThumbGlide use the network: allow it on private networks. You can always type the address shown in the ThumbGlide window instead.

The computer paired over Bluetooth, but the pointer doesn't move

If the computer had paired your phone before as a phone or headset, remove it from the computer's Bluetooth devices and pair it again from ThumbGlide's Bluetooth screen.

Some symbols come out wrong over Bluetooth

A Bluetooth keyboard sends key positions, not characters. Choose the keyboard language your computer uses under Computer keyboard on the Bluetooth screen. Over Wi-Fi this never happens.

Scrolling jumps over Bluetooth

A Bluetooth mouse can only scroll in whole wheel steps. For smooth scrolling, use Wi-Fi mode.

"This computer's identity changed"

This appears if ThumbGlide was reinstalled on the computer, or if another device is pretending to be it. If you reinstalled it, forget the computer in the app and pair again.

I bought Pro but it's locked

Make sure you're signed in to Google Play with the account you bought it with, then open Pro and tap I already bought it: restore.

Configurar por Bluetooth (sin instalar nada)

  1. En ThumbGlide, pulsa Sin instalar nada: usar Bluetooth y permite el Bluetooth.
  2. Pulsa Hacer visible el móvil.
  3. En el ordenador, abre los ajustes de Bluetooth y agrega un dispositivo Bluetooth. En Windows: Configuración → Bluetooth y dispositivos → Agregar dispositivo → Bluetooth.
  4. Elige tu móvil y acepta el código en las dos pantallas.
  5. En Teclado del ordenador, elige el idioma de teclado que usa tu ordenador.

Configurar por WiFi

  1. Instala el programa ThumbGlide en tu ordenador con Windows y ábrelo. Su icono aparece junto al reloj.
  2. Mantén el móvil y el ordenador en la misma WiFi.
  3. En la app, pulsa Escanear el código del ordenador y apunta al código de la ventana de ThumbGlide. O elige el ordenador de la lista y escribe el PIN que muestra.

Si algo no funciona

Mi ordenador no aparece en la lista de WiFi

Las WiFi de invitados y algunos routers impiden que los dispositivos se vean, y una VPN en cualquiera de los dos también. La primera vez, Windows puede preguntar si ThumbGlide puede usar la red: permítelo en redes privadas. Siempre puedes escribir la dirección que muestra la ventana de ThumbGlide.

El ordenador se emparejó por Bluetooth, pero el puntero no se mueve

Si el ordenador ya tenía emparejado el móvil como teléfono o auriculares, quítalo de los dispositivos Bluetooth del ordenador y vuelve a emparejarlo desde la pantalla Bluetooth de ThumbGlide.

Algunos símbolos salen cambiados por Bluetooth

Un teclado Bluetooth envía posiciones de tecla, no caracteres. Elige el idioma de teclado de tu ordenador en Teclado del ordenador, en la pantalla Bluetooth. Por WiFi esto no pasa.

El scroll va a saltos por Bluetooth

Un ratón Bluetooth solo puede hacer scroll por pasos de rueda. Para un scroll suave, usa el modo WiFi.

«La identidad de este ordenador ha cambiado»

Sale si se reinstaló ThumbGlide en el ordenador, o si otro dispositivo se hace pasar por él. Si lo reinstalaste, olvida el ordenador en la app y vuelve a emparejarlo.

Compré Pro pero sigue bloqueado

Comprueba que estás en Google Play con la cuenta con la que lo compraste, abre Pro y pulsa Ya lo compré: restaurar.
